The Gospel Message

God wants you to know Him. Here is the message of salvation as presented in the Holy Scriptures.

God Wants You to Know Him — God Loves You

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

As it is written: "None is righteous, no, not one."

God's Remedy for Your Sin

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6:23

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:9

Receiving Christ

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and eat with him, and he with me.

And saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."

A Personal Prayer

If you would like to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, you may pray this prayer from your heart:

God, from my heart, I admit to You that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Your Son, Jesus, took the punishment I deserve by shedding His blood on the cross. He gave His life as the full payment for my sins and rose again from the dead. Thank you for changing my heart. I now confess and turn from my sins and receive Your Son Jesus as my Savior and Lord. - Amen

Foundational Truths

Important biblical truths that strengthen your understanding of salvation and the Christian walk.

The Holy Spirit

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

John 14:16-18

Repentance

Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.

Acts 3:19

Salvation

Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:9

Faith

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

Romans 10:17

The Devil

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.

1 Peter 5:8-9

Temptation

Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am being tempted by God," for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers.

James 1:13-16
